Pakistani students should confirm academic admission and future degree use separately. A university may accept an FSc, A level or another qualification while Pakistan’s HEC or a professional council applies additional conditions to the completed foreign degree.
Obtain an exact academic review
Submit genuine certificates, marks sheets, passport and any required attestation or translation. Ask for a written decision naming the programme, campus, teaching language, intake and preparation requirement.
Do not assume that a general admission statement applies to medicine, pharmacy, engineering, computing or another specialised field. Ask which subjects and grades the department requires.
Check HEC and the professional body
Pakistan’s HEC publishes a foreign-degree equivalence process and says the foreign university must be recognised by the government of its country. Ask HEC how the exact institution, campus, programme, duration and delivery mode would be treated.
For a regulated profession, contact the relevant Pakistani council in addition to HEC. Institutional recognition, degree equivalence and professional registration are related but not identical decisions.

Build a rupee-aware budget
Request a personal invoice with tuition after scholarship, mandatory fees, preparation, payment dates and refunds. Add housing, deposit, travel, residence, health and insurance. Convert each item to Pakistani rupees using the date and rate source, and stress-test the exchange rate.
Do not rely on a representative’s “all-in” verbal total or a promised local job. Student work is separately regulated and cannot safely carry tuition.
Verify the payment channel
Ask the university finance office for the institutional beneficiary and student reference. Ask your bank or regulated payment provider which current foreign-education documents and controls apply. Keep the debit evidence, transfer trace and university receipt.
Avoid personal accounts, unexplained third parties and requests to disguise the purpose of payment. A faster route is not useful if the university cannot document it.
Check the Türkiye connection
Flights to Ercan operate through Türkiye. Confirm the visa position for your passport and itinerary, particularly for self-transfers, airport changes or baggage collection. The airline and Turkish authorities control that part of the journey.
The safest decision has a verified programme, documented HEC or professional pathway, sustainable budget and lawful payment route.
